FCBPay is FCB’s newest mobile banking product. FCBPay aims to provide our PITAKArd clients with optimum convenience in performing banking transactions using his/her mobile phone, such as Balance Inquiry, Fund Transfer to enrolled PITAKArd accounts; and Bills/QR Payments at FCB accredited companies and registered merchants.

  Procedures

How to Activate Account

Please go to your nearest FCB branch to register for FCBPay.

After the enrollment procedure is successfully processed at the branch, a confirmation message is sent to the registered mobile phone number stating that the user is now enrolled with the FCBPay App.

1. At FCBPay App window, the Registered and Reactivate buttons are enabled. Tap the Register button.

2. Shortly thereafter, another window shall display with the following fields as shown below:

Mobile Number Input the 10-digit mobile number or SIM number you used to register earlier
New PIN Code Input your desired 6-digit PIN. This PIN Code is used every time you access the FCBPay App. It must exclusively known to the holder only.
Select Default SIM If the phone has dual SIM, please select the SIM Slot of the registered mobile number (this is not available for single SIM phones)


3. Finally, tap the Submit button.

4. Wait for a text confirmation of your registration. Once successful, you can now start using the FCBPay Mobile Banking Application.






How to Top-up the FCBPay Wallet

To use the FCBPay wallet for transactions, it must have adequate balance. Top up an account balance means adding money to the account.

Once you have enrolled accounts, you can send Fund Transfers by:

1. At homepage menu, select/tap the PITAKArd Account in the list of linked accounts for top-up. .

2. Tap ‘Top Up FCBPay Wallet Balance’.

3. Encode the amount to top-up.

4. Tap ‘Submit’.

5. Wait for a text message confirming that the top-up or transfer to the FCBPay Wallet has been successful.

Note: The amount will be deducted from the source account balance (PITAKArd) and will be added to the FCBPay wallet balance (destination account).

It is the responsibility of the Client to ensure his FCBPay Wallet has adequate balance. Any attempted transactions will be declined if the FCBPay Wallet balance is zero.

How to Transfer Funds

FCBPay allows users to send Fund Transfers to other FCBPay users for free. In order to transfer funds, please enroll the FCBPay accounts for whom you would like to send Fund Transfers. For security purposes, you need to enroll these accounts at any FCB branch.

Once you have enrolled accounts, you can send Fund Transfers by:

1. Go to Transactions tab menu.

2. At the display options under Transactions menu, tap Fund Transfer button.

3. At Enrolled Account field, select the appropriate account you want to make the fund transfer (Destination Account). All enrolled accounts are shown in this display window.

4. Input the amount of the Fund Transfer, then tap Submit button.

5. Shortly, a text message will be received at the registered mobile number of both the sender and the receiver confirming that the fund transfer is successfully debited from the sender’s account and the receipt of the fund transfer, respectively.




How to Balance Inquiry

FCBPay users can check their FCBPay wallet balance or their PITAKArd balance at any time.

1. Tap the account you want to inquire the balance. 2. Tap Balance Inquiry. 3. Tap Submit and wait for confirmation.

How to Make Purchases

FCBPay users can use their mobile phones to pay for goods and services at any accredited merchant. You can make purchases by:

Option 1
    1. Go to the Transactions tab in the the FCBPay Homepage.

    2. At the display options under Transactions tab, tap QR Pay.

    3. Another window shall display. Tap TAP TO SCAN QR CODE button.

    4. Scan the Merchant’s QR Code when the app prompts to scanning. Merchant’s QR Code is usually displayed at the counter specifically labelled as such.

    5. Input the Amount. This should be the exact amount of the purchase payment. Be sure that the FCBPay Wallet has sufficient balance to process the payment.

    6. Thereafter, tap Submit button.

    7. A text message will be received confirming that the payment is successful.




Option 2
    1. At FCBPay homepage, tap Scan QR, found at the bottom part of your screen.

    2. Scan the Merchant’s QR code when the app prompts for scanning. Successful scanning will automatically direct the user at QR Pay menu.

    3. Input the Amount. This should be the exact amount of the purchase payment. Be sure that the FCBPay Wallet has sufficient balance to process the payment.

    4. Thereafter, tap Submit button.

    5. A text message will be received confirming that the payment is successful.





How to Enroll Bills Payment

FCBPay users can use their mobile phones to pay their utility or tuition bills with accredited institutions at any time, from the comfort of your home. To begin paying bills using FCBPay, you must enroll accredited billers first.

    1. At Settings tab, tap Enroll Bills Payment Institution.

    2. Scan the QR Code of the utility company/institution you wish to enroll. The name of the Merchant will automatically appear. Tap the Merchant’s Name.



    3. Tap Add Account and key in the subscriber’s account number and account name in applicable fields; then tap Save.



The Bills Payment Institution will now be an Enrolled Biller. To make a bills payment, the client can go to the Transactions tab.



How to Make Bills Payment

1. Go to Transactions tab; tap Bills Payment.


2. Select the desired Institution in the display by tapping Institution. Tap to select Account to be Paid and encode the Amount.

3. Tap Submit and wait for confirmation.


A text message will be sent to both the client and the merchant confirming that payment is successful.
