Awards and Citations
Over the years, the bank has received a number of awards, as well as recognition for its performance. In 2009, FCB received recognition from BIR Commissioner Joel L. Tan Torres for "its unqualified support to the country's economic development effort as one of the Top Large Taxpayers with consistent increase in voluntary compliance on its Tax Payments of the taxable year 2009." Most recently, in 2014, the City of Tagbilaran gave an award to FCB on July 1 for outstanding business. The Province of Bohol extended an award to FCB during its Foundation Day held on July 22, 2014 in recognition for its outstanding contribution to the economy of Bohol.
- Distinguished Partner Financing Facilities Award (2005) for lending to small and medium enterprises in the country, by the Small Business Guarantee and Finance Corporation.
- Hall of Fame Award (2004) for outstanding performance and fervent commitment to excellence and service in countryside banking, awarded by Land Bank of the Philippines.

- The Best in Capital Building (2000) "for its remarkable performance in rendering worthwhile contribution in the development of the rural economy," by Land Bank of the Philippines.
- Plaque of recognition (2000) as an intermediary financial institution participating in the Small and Medium Enterprise Credit Program, by the Philippine Business for Social Progress.
- The Distinguished SBGFC Partner for Year 2000 for its noteworthy performance as an accredited financial institution under the SBGFC Omnibus Credit Program for Small Entrepreneurs and for its commitment and support to the development of small and medium enterprises in the country, by SBGFC.
- The Pakikiisa Award(1999) (corporation category) for being consistent top corporate taxpayer of the internal revenue district for five consecutive years and for being supportive of the BIR as major sponsors in its tax education and information activities, by BIR.

- The Corporate Citizenship Excellence Award for the Visayas (1998) for exemplary contribution in helping promote a sustainable and equitable form of development in Bohol, by the Philippine Business for Social Progress, the foremost non-stock, non-profit, non-governmental organization in the country.
